About the Website

This website was hand-coded in Visual Studio Code Zed, built with Eleventy, and deployed via GitHub Actions to my own infrastructure. Half of my knowledge comes from some forms of formal education in the past and the other half comes from self-education, tons of experimentation (and failures!), and a lifetime habit of just messing around with customization wherever possible. I have a lot of patience, so it helps a lot when it comes to things that usually require frequent troubleshooting.

Design philosophy

For content-focused works, I tend to lean minimalist in order to keep things clean and distinctive. I believe the design should complement and spotlight the content.

Notes

• The grayscale effect kicks in when you aren't hovering over the main site content.
• Sound effects don't play until you click/interact with the page due to browser security restrictions. This must be done on every page load.
• Hovering over the navigation menu with sound on is satisfying...
• Site may look clean, but it's spaghetti back here.
